KOTA KINABALU, Aug 20 – Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS), through one of its vice-presidents, Herbert Timbon Lagadan, today extended an open invitation to Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice-president Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan to rejoin PBS.
“Dr Jeffrey should seriously examine his position in PKR and PR, which is showing more and more inclination towards violence-creating acts in their own carefully nurtured politics of extremity.
“I call upon Dr Jeffrey, a promoter of peace and rule of law, to quit the opposition and rejoin peaceful PBS now as a show of disapproval over the growing unethical behaviour of some PKR leaders,” he said in a statement here.
Timbon claimed that supporters of Dr Jeffrey, both within and outside PKR, had complained about PKR advisor Datuk Anwar Ibrahim’s apparent condescending attitude on East Malaysian matters, plus his openly disrespectful and colonialist-style treatment of Sabah leaders.
“PBS would always welcome back Dr Jeffrey to rejoin PBS, after all he was one of those instrumental in founding PBS way back in 1983 and 1984,” said Timbon who is also state Assistant Community Development and Consumer Affairs Minister.
On the growing unruly behaviour of opposition elected representatives in the peninsula, Timbon said that regardless of political affiliation, every elected representative must respect the rule of law. – Bernama

Look in the mirror and search you conscience if you have any that Sabah is doing well with the BN in control.Think for the less privilege and maybe just maybe Jeffery may return to join you but not PBS per se
