PKR’s Lim sworn in as Kedah state exco

ALOR SETAR, Sept 13 — Kulim assemblyman Lim Soo Nee today took his oath of office as a member of the Kedah state executive council, replacing Mohamad Radzhi Salleh who was dropped after declaring himself as an independent member on Aug 25.

The ceremony was held before the Sultan of Kedah, Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah, at the audience hall of the Istana Anak Bukit near here.

Lim, 37, from Parti Keadilan Rakyat(PKR), is given the portfolio on domestic trade, Siamese community affairs and unity, previously held by S. Manikumar.

Manikumar, who is Bukit Selambau assemblyman, is now the Tourism, Community Development and Indian Community Affairs Committee chairman.
